Sports Hall of Fame

The Imperial Sports Scholarship is an annual Athlete-of-the-Year scholarship that is awarded to an Abbotsford area high school graduate who desires to continue their education and pursue their athletic activities.

This $1,000 scholarship is awarded in April at our annual Abbotsford Hall of Fame banquet ceremonies, thanks to Imperial Paving Limited.

Criteria for the Imperial Scholarship

The applicant must satisfy all the following criteria:

1. The applicant must have competed successfully at an extremely high level in high school or community athletic programs.
2. The applicant must have applied for and been inducted into the Abbotsford Sports Wall of Fame.
3. Applications for this scholarship will be supplied by the Abbotsford Hall of Fame directors to potential candidates. Candidates must submit the completed application by the deadline specified on the application form.
4. The successful applicant will attend a post secondary institution to continue studies within one year of receiving this Imperial Sports Scholarship.
