Mits Ikeda

Mits Ikeda is being inducted into the Abbotsford Sports Hall of Fame as a Builder for his dedication and foresight to the sport of gymnastics. Mits has been involved with the Abbotsford Twisters since 1988 when he began the expansion of the boys program to a degree that it became a force in gymnastics in BC and eventually in Canada. Mits is an Olympic level coach whose greatest achievement has been his ability to inspire young athletes to reach their greatest potential and to encourage them to contine their involvement in gymnastics as coaches, judges and volunteers.
